Adam king was born in October 2014. He was diagnosed with a severe form of Osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) before birth. Adam lives in Killeagh, Co. Cork with parents Dave and Fiona, brothers Danny and Robert and sister Katie.
At the moment his favourite activities are going to Fota Wildlife Park and Leahy’s Open Farm with his family. Adam attends Temple St. Children’s Hospital regularly for clinics and as an in patient is treated there with bisphosphonate infusions to strengthen his bones. BUMBLEance makes travelling to Dublin easy and fun for Adam, ensuring he buzzes like the king bee that he is!
At 4 months old Adam took his first trip on the BUMBLEance in February 2015 and was brought to Dublin with his Dad David in comfort and style. David says that “the support from BUMBLEance for our family has been absolutely astonishing. From the admin staff to the highly qualified paramedics who helped us on our journey, we really feel grateful for all the help Adam has received. Thank you all so much!”
