Jackie Turner (Genomics Medicine Ireland) is giving a lecture in the Conference Room in Temple St on the 9th December at 11am. to highlight a study being carried out by Genomics Medicine Ireland, seeking to find a diagnosis in patients with undiagnosed rare disorders. The study expects to find a diagnosis in 25% of patients screened which will mean a diagnosis in 500 more children before the end of the study. The remaining children will be screened when new disease genes are found.

This exciting research study is open to undiagnosed children attending Temple Street and Crumlin hospitals, who will be eligible for the study through their clinician.
